PRIVATE LESSONS

What are private lessons? 

Private lessons are an opportunity for students to grow in their playing beyond what is possible in a classroom setting through one-on-one coaching from a professional instrumentalist. These performers are experts at their craft and have years of experience to give the students. These private lessons will focus on everything from posture to personally assigned solos that will help bolster what our students are learning in class.

 

When are private lessons? 

Private lessons are during your students' orchestra period. These lessons will be approximately 21 minutes in length and will take up about half of the class. In the event of a missed lesson due to illness, or rescheduling for other reasons, please contact your private lesson teacher to ask about make-up lessons. 

 

How much are private lessons? 

Private lessons are $24 per lesson. Lessons are highly recommended to be taken weekly, however, if weekly lessons prove to be too much of a financial strain, we recommend all students try to have lessons every other week or at least once a month. This can all be scheduled with the private teacher.
